When Rokusho Group, a distinguished Japanese F&B brand, embarked on establishing their flagship izakaya bar in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, they entrusted Connecty to oversee the project's execution. 

In the Rokusho Saigon project, Connecty acted as a key early-stage advisor, aligning international stakeholders and ensuring clear communication between Tokyo and U.S -based clients, global design teams, and local contractors.

The original space, measuring 22.5 meters in width and 7.3 meters in depth, lacked distinctive features. To transform this anonymous space, the design team introduced several waist-high, cast-in-place concrete volumes that structure the interior layout. 

Material is another challenge in this project. By expertly managing Vietnamese contractors and artisans, Connecty ensured the seamless execution of high-quality, bespoke finishes through precise technical coordination. Signature elements such as floating indigo fabrics, hand-crafted concrete features, floating indigo fabric and subtly chiseled textures contrasted with smooth polished surfaces were delivered with meticulous attention to detail and true to Japanese design precision.

Rokusho has successfully launched at 2 Thi Sach, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. Together with special interior, this restaurant created a nuanced spatial narrative that evokes the intimacy of Tokyo traditional alley dining in a contemporary setting at the heart of Ho Chi Minh city.

Thanks to the client's trust, it is another showcasing of Connecty as an extension partner in Vietnam for international prestigious brands, delivering complex commercial projects in Vietnam with global expectations and local precision.
